After months of enduring mockery about their "conscious uncoupling", Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin might be having second thoughts about divorce, and staying together after all!

According to the Daily Mirror, the couple have had a "wake-up call" about calling off their ten-year marriage, with a source saying:
"It's true they had problems but in the weirdest way this 'conscious uncoupling' situation has relieved the pressure on them.
"Gwyneth had ground rules about not immediately dating, respecting each other, keeping things happy for their two children and communicating throughout but it seems to have acted as a wake-up call."
The source also added: "Chris still lives with her, they are amazingly lovey-dovey together and she still wears her wedding ring.
"They may have consciously uncoupled a few months ago - but they seem to be recoupling now. No one will be surprised if they get back together."
We won't lie: this news makes us very happy.

The pair have been spotted out together at quite a few swanky meals recently, leaving via the back door so as not to get papped.
Gwyneth and Chris have two children together, Apple and Moses, and they previously claimed the reason they were continuing to spend so much time together was because of their kids, with a source saying:
"They've tried to keep things as stable and consistent as possible for their kids. They spend a lot of time together as a family and haven't changed things since they announced they were splitting up."
But candlelit dinners for two? Sounds pretty romantic to us!
Chris Martin has spoken out about his split with Gwyneth Paltrow for the first time.
The Coldplay frontman blamed himself for the break-up in a frank interview with Radio 1's Zane Lowe, saying it was his "issues" and inability to embrace the good things in life that drove a wedge between the couple.

However, he refused to call the marriage a breakdown, telling the radio host:
"I wouldn't use the word breakdown, this was more a realisation about trying to grow up, basically. Like I said, if you can't open yourself up, you can't appreciate the wonder inside. So you can be with someone very wonderful, but because of your own issues you cannot let that be celebrated in the right way."
Without referring to Gwyneth directly, Martin explained that his downbeat attitude was what led to the couple "consciously uncoupling" last month - but he is determined to change:
"What changed for me was - I don't want to go through life being scared of it, being scared of love, being scared of rejection, being scared of failure. Ever since our band came out, we have been a very polarising group because we do a certain thing very well … About two years ago I was a mess really because I can't enjoy the thing that we are good at and I can't enjoy the great things around me because I'm burdened by this - I've got to not blame anyone else and make some changes."
He then added that at time he had been "completely vulnerable, and it caused me some problems. If you don't let love really in then you can't really give it back." The band's new album, Ghost Stories, addresses the fact that "you've got to open yourself up to love and if you really do, of course it will be painful at some times, but then it will be great at some point."
In a more light-hearted segment of the interview, Chris also added that he was a big One Direction fan, telling Lowe "Their songs are great" and that he loved Harry's hair cut - "I was too enamoured with his hair cut. I was like this, 'I was pretty sure I was a straight guy before'. I was having a hot flush."

It was reported that he and Gwyneth were in the Bahamas with their kids when the announcement was posted to Gwyneth's Goop website. An article in the New York Post's Page Six has claimed Gwyneth was keen to allow people to believe they had no problems, but Chris felt it was 'wrong' to pretend everything was fine and forced a public announcement that their 10 year union was over. Anthony Martin spoke exclusively to The Mirror about the split, saying that although the news was "sad and upsetting", that couple were still "great mates".
The former magistrate told the newspaper:
"If you are married you know you have good days and bad days. We all have our ups and downs.
"It is sad because there are our two grandchildren. But it is all very amicable between them."
Martin would not comment on rumours of Gwyneth's cheating on Chris, saying "I don't know anything about that." But he did chuckle as he tried to remember the phrase "conscious uncoupling" that the pair used when announcing their seperation on Paltrow's website Goop:
"It's all in the statement - the expression that was used - conscious…I am very proud of what they have achieved in their lives."
Paltrow's friend Cameron Diaz has also commented on the split, telling Extra:
"I think it's actually a very elevated and conscious (decision) and realized statement - when people like Chris and Gwyneth who really worked hard to be friends and keep the things that are good and work in their relationship, which is being friends and being parents."
She added:
"People go separate ways in other aspects of their life and I think it's really brave of them to phrase it that way...Leaving as a couple and deciding to stay together as parents and as friends - I think it's beautiful. I'm so proud of them."
According to reports from the US, the couple are looking at a $280million divorce. When Chris moves back to London, Gwyneth is also planning to take a year off to be with her children in the aftermath of the split.

Stephen Huvane, a spokesman for Gwyneth, told US website Defamer that the rumours were "completely false". And a spokesman for Kevin said claims of an affair were "categorically untrue."
And then there was a rumoured fling with supermodel Elle Macpherson's husband Jeff Soffer.
However Gwyneth's spokesman blasted: "It's completely false. Jeff is a longtime friend of Gwyneth's and there was no romantic relationship with him at all."
Friends said Coldplay singer Chris and his wife gave their utmost to putting their marriage back together over the past couple of years.
The insider said: "They have worked really hard for a year or more, going to therapy, trying to make it work. She's been more honest than ever about how hard marriage is, but they decided it was best to no longer be together as a couple."
