Ciara has released the FIRST picture of her baby son

The 28-year-old rapper took to Twitter this weekend to share an adorable photograph of her four-week-old son Future, which she dedicated to her fiancé Future, for Father's Day.

Alongside the cute snap, which sees the little one laying on a white fluffy rug gazing at the camera lens, she wrote: "Hey Dad aka Big @1future. Baby Future Loves You. #HappyFathersDay (sic)."

Cute, right?

Just an hour before releasing the first image of her gorgeous baby, Ciara teased fans with a picture of little Future's tiny hand wrapped around daddy Future's index finger.

She accompanied the image with the heartfelt caption: "From 

The Moment Baby Future Arrived, He Was Holding Your Hand So Tight, He Knew You Were Dad. Seeing That Melted My Heart... When I Look At Him, I See You Shining Through, And That's One Of The Most Beautiful Things Ever! You Are Truly One Of The Realist, Most Caring, Hard Working, Loving Dads In The World, and I'm So Proud Of You.I Love You. Happy Fathers Day @Future. (sic)."

Ok, we'll admit, if it wasn't so adorable we'd be asking for a sick bag.

Congrats, Ciara! The Love Sex Magic star has given birth to a baby boy - and chosen a name that's rather close to home.

Yes, Ciara decided to call her new arrival Future Zahir Wilburn - named after his daddy, and her fiance, rapper/producer Future. Not particularly original, we'll admit, but pretty darn cute.

The singer posted a photo of little Future's hand on Facebook and Instagram, captioned: "FUTURE ZAHIR WILBURN 9lbs 10oz May 19 2014".


Apparently the couple, who got engaged last October, decided on the name well before the baby was born, with Ciara telling Us Weekly:

"It was kind of easy...But the middle name was a little hard for me… I went with what felt right in my soul and my gut. I didn't second guess it."


This is the first child for Ciara and the second for Future, who is already father to a son from a previous relationship. The couple started dating in early 2013 before the October proposal.

Ciara is big mates with the Kardashians, so we're sure little Future will be hanging out with little North West soon!
ON MONDAY 24 MARCH 2014, WE WROTE...This weekend it was Ciara's baby shower, the singer who is over four months pregnant with her first child, invited her BFF Kim Kardashian, and Kim's mum Kris Jenner to come and celebrate with her at her Beverly Hills home.

The mummy-to-be looked stunning in her gorgeous maxi dress from Naeem Khan's Spring Summer collection.

Kim Kardashian opted for a gorgeous white ensemble, which showed off a pair of nude Tom Ford strappy sandals.

Momager Kris was by her daughter's side, also wearing head to toe white, and they brought quite the gift basket for Ciara!


According to E! News, the decor was blue, and little white onesies were hung from strands of blue beaded curtains.

Guests at the shower feasted on fried chicken and waffles, and for dessert a multi-tiered cake with a blue fondant ribbon was served.


"Ciara was glowing and seemed so excited about having a baby," the source said. "She had so much fun with her girlfriends opening presents and getting all of these last minute items for her baby."

At the end of the shower, Ciara's baby daddy, Future arrived to help pack up all of the gifts for Ciara which also included a play gym, stroller, high chair and bath tub.

Speaking on talk show The View, Ciara confirmed her pregnancy by standing up to show off her baby bump and saying "I'm so excited for this year."

It'll be the 28 year-old's first child, whilst fiancé, producer Future, has three children from previous relationships.

Speaking to People magazine, Ciara said the pair were still planning to marry and that she was fully into the planning.

"I think I'll be part bridezilla, I'm not going to lie" she said. "I still want it to be a fun process, but I want the dress to be perfect, I want the cake to be perfect, I want the food to be perfect. We're both looking forward to it."
