German defender Matthias Ginter will NOT be joining Borussia Dortmund, according to current club Freiburg.
The 20-year-old defender is currently on World Cup duty in Brazil and BVB general manager Michael Zork recently told Kicker that Dortmund were making "a final bid" for the youngster.
However, Freiburg say they remain some way off sealing a deal, as they can't agree over the terms.
"We have been in touch with Borussia Dortmund," Freiburg director Jochen Saier told Bild.
"We were having different points of view on the details of a deal. As far as I am concerned, we still have those different points of view."

Luis Suarez latest
Luis Suarez is set to complete his move from Liverpool to Barcelona in the next 48 hours.
Reports in Spain claim Liverpool have finally agreed a fee for the bad-boy Uruguay striker, however Anfield sources say nothing will happen before Friday at the earliest.
Suarez has remained in Uruguay since being kicked out of the World Cup for biting Italy's Giorgio Chiellini and it is understood he is having his Barcelona medical in South America.
Barcelona's medical team have flown to Brazil to assess the back injury to Neymar, which ended his World Cup against Colombia, and will then check out Suarez.

Our man David Anderson has been tweeting some interesting thoughts today.
And he says Mario Mandzukic's move to Atletico Madrid means Alvaro Negredo is staying at Manchester City.
Negredo starred during the start of last season's Premier League campaign, but fell flat during the second half of the campaign - costing him his World Cup place.

Colombia World Cup star Juan Cuadrado says his future is uncertain.
The 26-year-old starred for his country at the World Cup, following an excellent season with Fiorentina last term.
The Viola - who shared him on a co-ownership deal with Udinese - obtained full rights to the player last month, however Cuadrado isn't certain that his future will be with Vincenzo Montella's side.
"I don’t know yet what will happen," he is quoted as saying in the Manchester Evening News.
"At this moment I haven’t received any concrete offers from any club. You read a lot of things in the press, but at the moment there is nothing concrete.
"I’m not in a hurry to decide my future. We’ll see what happens.
"Wherever I play I will try to give my best in every match."

Almost done
Bayern Munich have confirmed that they have reached an agreement with Atletico Madrid over the sale of Mario Mandzukic.
The Croatian international top-scored at the Allianz Arena last season, but is surplus to requirements following a fall-out with Pep Guardiola and the arrival of Robert Lewandowski.
During a press conference today, Sammer revealed: "There is a verbal agreement between FC Bayern, Atletico Madrid and Mario Mandzukic,
"We wish to thank Mario for his performances at Bayern and wish him all the best for the future."

ICYMI last night, German midfield metronome Toni Kroos - part of *that* World Cup destruction - is joining Real Madrid, according to Bild.
The Bayern Munich man, who scored twice last night in Germany's 7-1 rout of the World Cup hosts, has reportedly agreed a five-year deal with Los Blancos, and an announcement will be forthcoming after the conclusion of the tournament in Brazil.
Kroos has one-year left on his contract at the Allianz Arena, but Bayern have decided to sell now, and Kroos will reportedly earn €12million-a-year (which supposedly equates tpo €6million after tax.)
Spanish daily Marca have joined in with this story, stating that he'll be presented as a new Real Madrid player next week.

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma have set a July 21 deadline for anyone interested in defender Mehdi Benatia.
The Moroccan international starred for the Giallorossi last season, but wants to join Manchester City this summer.
He is currently training alone, having grown upset with the club's stance after contract negotiations didn't go his way - despite Walter Sabatini declaring him worth €63million.
Why July 21 I hear you cry?
Well that's the day that both City and Ashley Cole's new club head to the United States on their respective pre-season tours.

Steven Caulker has held talks with both QPR and Crystal Palace but is still considering his options.
The Cardiff captain was given permission to speak to both Premier League clubs after they met his £8million release clause at relegated City.
He has had meetings with both Rangers chief Harry Redknapp and Eagles boss Tony Pulis.
Redknapp is dangling the possibility of partnering QPR target Rio Ferdinand.
But ambitious former Spurs centre-back Caulker, 22, is waiting to see if Liverpool come in for him as he played for Brendan Rodgers on loan at Swansea.
Southampton are also monitoring Caulker as the Reds wants Saints defender Dejan Lovren.

Liverpool round up
Liverpool target Xherdan Shaqiri has emerged as a target for Italian club AS Roma.
The Giallorossi have spending money ahead of a Champions League return, and with their American owners looking to make a splash, they have entered the race for the Swiss star.
According to Sky Italia, they have begun negotiations with Bayern Munich over the attacking midfielder.
Additionally, German club Schalke have declared that they've had no contact with the Reds over striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

Manchester United round up
According to Wolfsburger Allgemeinen in Germany, VFL Wolfsburg have received an offer from United for Swiss left-back Ricardo Rodriguez.
The highly-rated defender starred for the Swiss at the World Cup, and has proven himself one of the Bundesliga's best young talents in recent years
Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs has previously promised that the Wolves won't be selling any of their World Cup stars, but the Red Devils are looking to test the German club's resolve.

Arsenal round up
Alexis Sanchez has reportedly agreed a £150,000-a-week deal to move to the Emirates Stadium.
That would put the Chilean on a par with record signing Mesut Ozil in North London.
Also, Serge Aurier has played down links to the club - but he still wants a Premier League move.
And Mario Manduzkic won't be heading to the Premier League. The Croatian is set for Atletico Madrid.

Good Morning
Welcome folks, to another wonderful day of transfer news and what not.
Apparently, there was some fixture in Brazil last night where German's ran riot on a field in Belo Horizonte and some bloke called Shirley scored twice? Do we have that right?
We couldn't pay attention to that as we went in search of more transfer gossip, news, rumour and all sorts of other goodness.
Hey, the World Cup ends on Sunday, transfers are here until the end of August....It's a long-term thing!
Anyway, today we're expecting to see some more moving. Probably some more shaking as well.
So sit back. Relax. And let the good times roll.
Here we go!
