A hen party in New Orleans got a lot more than they bargained for when they bumped into Kanye West while out for a meal.

And Yeezy was clearly on form because the ladies described meeting him at Galatoire's restaurant in the Louisiana city as "the best night of our lives".

They had originally spotted him dining with a group of male friends and asked a waiter to send him a bottle of wine.

However the rapper turned the tables by declining to accept the gift and sending them champagne instead.

Jess Kingsbery, one of the hen party, told E! News: "The waiter brought it over and said the champagne was compliments of Mr. West and his party.

"It was so crazy, we could not get over it."

And it got even better for the girls when Yeezy offered to pose for photos - one of which Kingsbery has proudly posted on her Instagram feed.

"It was such a fun surprise," she added. "He was very, very nice. It was the best night of our lives."

So no pressure for the actual wedding then!
