Paula Patton FINALLY files for divorce from Robin Thicke

Like the big bird crap stain on your windscreen that you’ve been putting off cleaning, so Paula Patton has finally power-washed estranged husband Robin Thicke out of her life.

The actress has filed for divorce from her partner of nine years after announcing their separation in February this year, and will be seeking joint legal and physical custody of their little boy, Julian.

Paula, who stars in About Last Night, has been dating musician Zak Waters for the last few weeks, so it looks like Robin’s wife-themed album Paula didn’t have quite the desired effect.

But she’ll need to change her Twitter bio soon as it still says she’s an “Actress, mom, wife of the amazing, brilliant, genius @RobinThicke”. Awkward.


Speaking recently about the album he’d hoped would win back his ex-wife, Robin said: “This album is dedicated to her, but half of it is about my problems and me getting certain things together so I can be the kind of man that I wanted to be.”

Is that the kind of man who writes a song about dominating women and then, er, admits he totally lied about penning it? The kind of man who admitted he found it “fun” to objectify and degrade women? The kind of man who gropes a fan’s bum at the VMAs and says it was “just a joke”?

Yeah. You’re best off out of it, Paula.
