Johnny Depp snaps up Kate Middleton portrait and is keen for another of the pregnant Duchess

The Hollywood actor splashed out a small fortune for the royal artwork

Johnny Depp has reportedly splashed out on a nude portrait of the Duchess of Cambridge.

The 51-year-old actor snapped up the artwork by street artist Pegasus for a five figure sum, and has commissioned a second piece of 32-year-old Catherine, reportedly nude with her baby bump on display.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star snapped up the first artwork, which was entitled Game of Thrones, and is now keen for the second portrait entitled “crowned” of Kate.

Kate, who is currently on tour in the US with her husband Prince William, is expecting the couple’s second child and has not posed for the artwork.

The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star also spent £25,000 on a portrait of Queen Elizabeth as he visited the opening of the artist's gallery in Islington, north London on Sunday.

The Hollywood legend - who is engaged to Amber Heard and has children Lily-Rose, 15, and Jack, 12, with former partner Vanessa Paradis - is said to be a huge fan of Pegasus and "immediately" snapped up the works.
