Naomi Rocks Our World In Agent Provocateur

We think it’s safe to say that Naomi Campbell is back with a bang. The model that has been working in the industry for almost 30 years has just been revealed as Agent Provocateur’s new face of their SS15 campaign.

After a string of catwalk appearances for SS15 – including Pucci, Diane von Furstenburg and Badgley Mischka as well as scoring the SS15 Burberry campaign with Jourdan Dunn, Naomi is back in the fashion game, big time.

The 44-year-old supermodel shows that she’s still got it in the latest lingerie snaps from Agent Provocateur – showcasing the new SS15 range. The film-still-feel photographs captured by the talented model-turned-photographer Ellen von Unwerth. shows a lingerie-clad Naomi in various dark scenes with a distinct 60s touch.

#WANTEDBADLY is the theme of the campaign, inspired by both David Lynch’s The Lost Highway (a 1997 thriller/ horror) and Brian de Palma’s Body Double (a 1984 thriller starring Melanie Griffith). David Lynch’s quote from the film, creates part of the story - ‘Life makes detectives of all of us. There’s something at the end of the trail that we’re all looking for’.

Agent Provocateur have said Naomi plays their ‘mercurial femme, with a killer instinct and a body to match, she cloaks herself in only the most devastatingly sensual pieces to commit the perfect crime.’ – a steamy theme, that we absolutely love, getting us well in the mood for the upcoming 50 Shades Of Grey film, due Spring 2015 – perfect timing!

The brand’s Communications Director Sarah Shotton said they knew exactly what they wanted when casting for Spring Summer 2015 – A powerful all-female team and Naomi and Ellen were the perfect fit with their strong personalities.

Hand selecting photographer Ellen for her aesthetic, Sarah said ‘She mirrors the sensual, mysterious under tones of the campaign concept impeccably.’ And why Naomi? Other than that incredible bod of course… Sarah explains ‘Naomi is the ultimate Agent Provocateur woman: witty, gorgeous and confident. She is a natural femme fatale, a quality which effortlessly translates in our images.’

All we can say is – go girls! We love the cool campaign just as much as we love Naomi’s big return to fashion.
