Another Fire Oubreak In Lagos
There are reports another fire outbreak is raging behind Mandilas, at Marina and men of the Lagos State Fire Service are battling to put-out the fire.
The latest fire outbreak, which reportedly started around 4am in one of the tall buildings at the Eko/Berlin Market area, came at a time men of the Lagos State Fire Service are still battling to contain a fire outbreak at three warehouses at Kirikiri area of Lagos metropolis, where inflammable products like tyres were stored.
Confirming the latest fire outbreak in Lagos, the Director of Fire Service in the State, Mr. Rasaq Fadipe, lamented that in the last 24 hours, his men have been battling eight different fire outbreaks among which was the 12 rooms at Ilasamaja area of the city.
He, therefore, advised Lagosians to be extra careful about how they handle unclad fire and always put-off all electrical appliances when they are not in use. Fadipe also tasked smokers on the need to properly dispose their cigarettes after smoking.
Meanwhile, traffic has been diverted on Lagos Island as a result of the fire outbreak.
