Blurring the lines between silhouettes past and present, Jordan Brand's latest signature endeavor is a direct tribute to the sneaker that started all of this chaos: the Air Jordan I.
Like the Air Jordan I, the XXXI will be unleashed with a "Banned" colorway. This colorway holds a special place in the hearts of sneakerheads, and the sole of the XXXI reflects that notion, using the "Banned" text itself to bring attention to the kicks while they're in flight.
It's a smart play for nostalgia buffs and the younger generation out there, who are all hoping for Jordan Brand to return to more of a "retro" form.

FlightSpeed technology, a full-scale Zoom Air unit and low-profile cushioning were all included when generating this model.
Unlike the leather-based OG Jordan I, the XXXI has been updated with a Flywire platform and a one-piece upper. Embracing this whole 2016 tech wave, the XXXI should prove to be another lightweight, supportive dream for those who enjoy the challenges of hoop life.
