Britney Spears says she's still a hopeless romantic
Britney Spears still believes in her happily ever after, even if the fairy tale hasn’t gone smoothly so far.
“Unfortunately, I am (a hopeless romantic),” the “Make Me" singer said on the Australian radio show Rove and Sam on Hit 104.1. “I’ve been through horrible relationships, but unfortunately I still believe in love and I think you should protect your heart and stuff like that, but I am a hopeless romantic. I believe in love.”
Spears had her marriage to Jason Alexander annulled in 2004 after 55 hours and divorced from Kevin Federline in 2006.
The singer was engaged to talent agent Jason Trawick from December 2011 to January 2013, but the two never made it down the aisle.
Spears and David Lucado broke up after 18 months after his alleged cheating, and she and Charlie Ebersol broke up in June 2015 after eight months.
But the pop star isn’t looking for love at the Las Vegas clubs, where she’s doing a residency at Planet Hollywood.
“I’m very boring. I’m 34 years old so I don’t really like clubs. My show is loud enough so when I go to clubs my ears are so sensitive that I just want to go run and hide somewhere! I’m not really a party animal. I like to work out, I like a routine and I’m kinda simple,” she told Hit 104.1.
“I eat almost the same thing every day — Caesar salad — and I’m pretty healthy. There are fun places and things to do in Vegas, but it’s not really my thing. I’m not a party hearty girl.”
