Caitlyn Jenner’s reality series ‘I am Cait’ canceled after two seasons
Call it "I am canceled."
After weeks of speculation over her ratings-challenged show's future, Caitlyn Jenner revealed her E! Network docu-series "I Am Cait" will not return for a third season.
"After 2 amazing seasons of @IAmCait, it's time for the next adventure," she tweeted Tuesday. "Thank you E! & thank you to the best girlfriends I could ask for!"

The series, which spanned 16 episodes, centered on Jenner's life in the months following her gender transition to a woman.
The show earned respectable viewership early on, drawing a whopping 2.7 million viewers in its premiere episode, but struggled mightily in its second season.

The first episode of Season 2 plummeted to a mere 745,000 viewers, and the lowest-rated show of the season scored a paltry 480,000 spectators.
Rumors swirled at the conclusion of Season 2 over whether the show would be given the axe, but a spokesperson for E! told Variety that it was a mutual decision between Jenner and the network to end the series.
“I Am Cait” spanned 16 episodes over two seasons.

"We are incredibly proud of the two seasons of 'I Am Cait,' a groundbreaking docu-series that sparked an important and unprecedented global conversation about transgender people, their struggles and triumphs," the network's statement read.
"She will always remain a part of the E! family, and we look forward to continue following her journey as she appears on 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians.'"
The first-ever episode of "I Am Cait" aired on July 26, 2015 — less than two months after Jenner, 66, reintroduced herself to the world as Caitlyn.
The final show ran less than a year later on April 24, 2016.
