Ivanka Trump says she’d have a role in Donald Trump’s White House

Donald Trump's daughter is likely to hear the words, "You're Hired," if the blabbering billionaire is elected president.

Ivanka Trump told Harper's Bazaar that she would have a role in her father's White House if he lands the American seat of power.

And she already knows which national concerns she wants to address.

"Well, obviously, I'm a huge advocate for women and women's issues," she told the magazine.

There would be a need for such an advocate given her father's history using terms like "fat pig" and "dog" to describe women in the past.

The 34-year-old, who serves as an executive vice president for her father's business empire, also listed child care as an issue that needs to be reformed.

"The cost of child care is incredibly onerous," she said. "In half the country, the cost of child care exceeds the cost of housing. It's the largest expense for households. It's not sustainable or appropriate."

Despite her apparent willingness to join her father's political team, Trump told the magazine she doesn't see herself ever running for office herself.

She added that any speculation that she's actually running her father's campaign is untrue, though that doesn't mean she's shying away from providing her input.

"I'm definitely not. His campaign is his campaign," she said, before adding, "My role is daughter. I'm his daughter… My siblings and I volunteer our opinions, solicited or not, and I think most children do that with their parents."

The mother of three also addressed her relationship with Chelsea Clinton in the wide-ranging interview, telling the magazine that her father's presidential race hasn't destroyed her friendship with Hillary Clinton's daughter.

"I still consider her a very close friend, and she considers me as well," she said. "We have a great relationship. I'm not running for public office, and neither is she, so of course we're still friends."
