George Clooney and wife Amal have denied rumours they are expecting their first child.

The gorgeous newlyweds sparked intense speculation they were to become parents after human rights lawyer Amal stepped out wearing a loose-fitting jacket.

With her long hair pushed to one side, the human rights lawyer held a large velvet clutch bag close to her body for a outing in West Hollywood this weekend - prompting some to question if she was trying to conceal a growing baby bump.

Not expecting

But it seems we'll have to wait to see the most gorgeous couple on the planet welcome a child, after reps denied the news to Mirror Celebs.

Mr and Mrs Clooney exchanged vows in a lavish Venetian ceremony at the seven-star Aman Canal Grande Hotel in September.

Last week they posted spectacular pictures of their big day, including one where they shared their first dance.
