Fans injured at Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa concert after railing collapses sending fans tumbling


Fans were rushed to hospitals after a railing collapsed at a packed Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa concert in Camden, New Jersey Friday night.

The concert, which took place at the BB&T Pavilion, was about halfway through and the star performers were chanting 'Stand up!' just went a front row railing collapsed, sending dozens of fans sprawling to the lawn below.

At least five fans were confirmed taken to the hospital, with an additional ten to 15 hurt, reportedNBC10 Philadelphia.




There were reports of around 40 fans being injured, but that number couldn't be confirmed. At least one person was seen on a stretcher.

Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa had just gotten onto to a secondary stage when the collapsed happened, according to a fan who witnessed it and posted video of the aftermath.


Dozens of fans collapsed over each other as a large section of the railing gave way, with people sprawling to the lawn below, which is right near a concrete area.

The performers were ushered off stage and an announcer assured fans they would return, however, organizers ended up cancelling the show and clearing the venue.
