Manchester United star Juan Mata says fans shouldn’t listen to what social media and media says regarding his future at the club.

Speaking to a fan while stopped in a car with teammate Ander Herrera, the Spaniard said: “Don’t believe everything that social media and media says.”


However, when asked if he’s definitely staying, the 28-year-old only laughed and refused to answer.

Since the arrival of Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford, it has been suggested he would be sold after the Portuguese sold him while at Chelsea as he didn’t fit in to his style of play, and could do so again with the Red Devils.
