Twitter spits out Kaine memes, Obama praise after Wednesday DNC

He’s only just been named as Hillary Clinton’s VP pick, but Tim Kaine is already winning over Twitter.

The third night of the DNC in Philadelphia boasted a star-studded speaker list — including Kaine, Obama, former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Vice President Joe Biden — and the internet had plenty to say about all of them.

Though Kaine’s speech featured phenomenally bad Donald Trump impressions, the Twitterverse took aim at his major dad vibe.

“Tim Kaine is your friend's dad who catches you smoking weed at a sleepover and doesn't rat you out but talks to you about brain development,” wrote PJ Vogt, a ReplyAll podcast producer.

“I bet if tim kaine has leaked voicemails at the DNC they were all reminders to stay hydrated,” tweeted Washington Post writer Alexandra Petri.

“Tim Kaine is that soccer dad who can sing along to any rap song, but hums the cuss words,” wrote Washington Examiner’s Kelly Cohen.

“Tim Kaine isn’t mad at Donald Trump. He’s just a bit disappointed,” said Vox’s Ezra Klein.

In short, Twitter fell in love Wednesday night.

The wannabe VP’s tie even got its own social media account.

Michael Bloomberg’s speech was filled with gibes and jabs targeting the bombastic billionaire on the other side of the aisle.

“I’m a New Yorker, I know a con when I see one,” he told the enthusiastic crowd at the Wells Fargo Center.

“To be real: Bloomberg did better than I thought! He threw some beautiful billionaire shade,” wrote Twitter user Sara Benincasa.

Michael Bloomberg parody account — Miguel Bloombito — tweeted along to the billionaire mayor’s witty words.

“Voto para Clintoño por que esta not perfecto, pero at leasto not el orange Chupacabra,” the account wrote.

“Clintño esta sane. Esta how low el bar esta. Sanityo,” Bloombito added in a later tweet.

While Twitter loved poking fun at Kaine and Bloomberg, the internet straight-up loved Biden and Obama.

Biden lit up the convention center with a Trump-trashing talk.

“Just knocked my TV over swiping right on Joe Biden,” tweeted novelist Tim Federle.

“Joe Biden just used the word ‘malarkey’ to talk about Donald Trump's campaign and I've never felt more satisfied,” wrote Twitter user Em Watkins.

Obama’s speech was predictably powerful and popular, as he urged voters to “reject cynicism” and elect Hillary Clinton as the next commander-in-chief. Amid roaring applause, he told the crowd, “I love you back,” a response he’s offered repeatedly to overly enthusiastic fans over the years.

“Best line ever from @POTUS ‘don't Boo, Vote!’ #DemsInPhilly,” Oprah Winfrey tweeted when Obama told viewers to get to the polls instead of booing every reference to the GOP billionaire.

“That's my man! Your truth, dignity and grace reminds us what real leadership looks like. I am always proud of our @POTUS,” wrote the adoring First Lady.

“We love you back, @POTUS,” Hillary Clinton tweeted.
