Buhari appoints Hadiza Usman as the Director Nig. Port Authority

 
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Ms. Hadiza Bala Usman as the Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA, and three executive directors. A statement yesterday by the Director, Communication of the Federal Ministry of Transport, Mrs Yetunde Sonaike, also named three other appointments taking effect from July 11, 2016, as Mr. Mohammed Bello-Koko, Executive Director (Finance); Professor Idris Abubakar, Executive Director (Engineering); Dr. Sekonte Davies, Executive Director (Marine Operations). File: Hadiza Bala Usman speaking during a campaign Born on January 2, 1976 in Zaria, Kaduna State, Hadiza Usman holds a B.Sc. degree in Business Administration from the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria and a post graduate degree in Development Studies from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom in 2009. She started her career with Centre for Democratic Development and Research Training, Zaria, a Non-Governmental Organization in June 2000 as a Research Assistant. She worked at the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE) from July 2000- August 2004 as an Enterprise Officer.
