Demi Lovato advised Nick Jonas to be single, 'f--- anybody'

Demi Lovato may be to blame for Nick Jonas breaking the chains of his relationship with Olivia Culpo.

The vocal pop star, who is currently on tour with the singer, confessed she wasn't a fan of Jonas' ex, former Miss Universe, Olivia Culpo and told her singing bestie he should "f--- anybody" he wants.

"Honestly, I didn't like her anyway.' It's not because she's mean or anything, but he has such a great sense of humor and I want him to be with someone that makes him laugh," she explained to Billboard magazine.

The former boy bander and Culpo split last year after two years together. Jonas told the magazine he turned to Lovato, who advised him "just go, create and be free." The former Disney stars have been best friends since they appeared in 2008's "Camp Rock."

"He's a guy in his twenties and he's famous and he likes to have a lot of fun," she said.

"Listen, even when he was in a relationship, I was like, 'Get out of that. You could f--- anybody that you want right now, so have fun and do that," she added.

Lovato didn't define which relationship she possibly tore apart but Culpo was Jonas' longest and most recent girlfriend.

She also may have taken her own advice in her love life. Lovato and actor Wilmer Valderrama announced their breakup last month after six long years and the singer says she has no interest in starting another relationship anytime soon.

"It's not on my mind, but I welcome anything," she confessed."I'll have fun. But a relationship … I won't want that for a long time."

All Jonas had to say about his relationship status was that single life has been "tricky." He’s been liked to actresses Kate Hudson and Lily Collins since splitting from Culpo.
