Johnny Depp's estranged wife Amber Heard has been 'spending a lot of time with' Tesla honcho Elon Musk who's worth a staggering $12b

Amber  has been struggling while navigating her way through a very public divorce from Johnny Depp.

But it appears as if the 30-year-old actress has not been doing so alone.

The Rum Diary star has been 'spending a lot of time' with Elon Musk, 45, worth a staggering $12.7 billion, according toTMZ. 

The site claimed that she has been seeing the man behind those sleek, eco-friendly Telsa cars for weeks.

Last weekend Amber and her sister were at Elon's hotel bungalow in Miami.

It was added she has visited him at his Los Angeles office and he has visited her at his home. Two weeks ago they allegedly had a 'one-one dinner' at his LA home.

The source warned it should not be called 'dating' but that it cannot be ignored that they have been in private a lot together.

It was added that the two have known each other for years, but have gotten closer only recently.

Musk is in the process of divorcing his wife Talulah, who he wed twice. He was also reportedly dating Cameron Diaz several years ago.

Meanwhile, a report from UsWeekly claims that Depp - who was spotted visiting Alcatraz in San Francisco on Wednesday - would like to hurry up the divorce process as much as possible.

'He would like to get it wrapped up quickly,' said an insider.

And Johnny, 53, wants to keep the details of their split out of the public eye. 'The lawyers are working out a private settlement,' a source told the magazine.

They had no prenup. The prolific actor is worth a reported $400m. She filed for divorce in May.

It was also revealed on Wednesday that Depp will not reveal his finances until Amber agrees to keep them private.
